He perches on a natural slice of the same pine log he was cut from.

Make it personal by choosing the name base. We carve your text right into the front of the round, like a family name, a cabin name, a hometown or a special date. Each carving is cut from a single pine log taken from standing dead trees in the Rocky Mountain high country, then shaped with a chainsaw, scorched for depth and hand painted. Since every log is different, yours will have its own grain and character, and fine surface checks are part of the look rather than a flaw.

We make it after you order, so plan on roughly two to four weeks before it leaves Colorado.
